I got into a car accident last week. The driver in front of me made an illegal left turn and I crashed into him (I crashed into him, but it was his fault because he made the turn too suddenly, and left turns are prohibited in that area). Anyway, I spent two days in the hospital. My hip is broken, and am having surgery in two weeks. My baby survived the crash (I am 22 weeks pregnant; 5 1/2 months) but she is showing less movement. She no longer kicks. The doctor said she's fine...She is doing much better than before. Right after the crash, when I was taken to the hospital, her heart rate was really down, and we were all scared, but now it's back to normal. I'm afraid that she's not going to make it...
Also, will the hip surgery affect her?
Unfortuneatly, I will not be given anasthesia because I am pregnant. I will however be put to sleep and be given pain killers.
Will the surgery affect my daughter, and is she currently okay?
the doctor says she's fine, but her movements are different.

Ie in olden days they would say the volcano god is angry so demands a sacificed virgin...

Porve us wrong and oh look most believe it so it must be right and are you going to take the cahnce you are wrong and not murder a girl in agony inacase the crops don't grow?

Now its oh you can't prove where the universe came fom ... Well give us a few thousand years to build a bloody big telescope thats 3 galaxies big kinda thing... all we have got to is the moon so far...

And in most sci fiction its only warp drive to go inter planet not inter galactic. So the scale of whats asked is going to take some time.

Does not mean the invisible pink unicorn or god did it.

Likewise your god and not the greek or roman gods or aborigonie spirits or sun god or leprechauns or fairies

The relgious live in the now and the past.

Never in the future acknowledging that we are still developing and evolving and slowly evolving such as aborigonies can't handle alcohol its like heroin to them

Question context:
--
In 1984 (somewhat appropriate isn't it?) , Madonna released a hit single called 'Material Girl' with a chorus line that went:
"Living in a material world
And I am a material girl
You know that we are living in a material world
And I am a material girl"
-
Since then market economies and consumer culture has become a global phenomenon; with China and India set to carry the flame forwards in years to come. Most of the things in our lives are expendable and consumable, even faith is sometimes traded for small luxuries. Perhaps the bonds with the people we love are the only things left untouched.
-
So is there an alternative to the material world? What will the future hold? Do you enjoy the consumer lifestyle?

Piles are used when the soil near the ground surface is not strong and the weight of the building must be carried by deeper soil layers. Is the static friction between the piles and soil along the entire length of the piles is taken into consideration when determining the piling needs?

The Americans dont like our game therefore. Clubs should stop having tours in the USA. Alot of those games are almost as empty as MLS games. A Galatasary game in Toronto only had an attendence a little over 3,000 people. The point is most americans dont care about football. Would you have an NBA game in Europe. No. why? cause not enough fans. Football is the world game as basketball is only played in America. Americans dont like football and i dont know why FIFA doesnt understand this.

It is the age old question that my obsessed friends and I have been debating for an embarrassing amount of time...
What do you think?
[Note: I am refering to Mr Darcy from the orginal Jane Austen novel, or from the BBC production, in which Colin Firth played Mr Darcy]
