I wanted to say thanks to everyone who ventures through this site. I stumbled upon it the other day and it has been great being able to post questions that I can't even get the people around me to answer.
I appreciate all the comments, even the crappy ones.
It sounds bad but because of the way my husband words I never get to leave the house. (our car is broke down as well). So this has given me a way to communicate and feel like something more than just a mother of five. Don't get me wrong I love my kids but I really need adult conversation more than what I get .
So thank you to everyone, you're all so cool.

Even with my sunglasses on, it's still bright when driving when sunny. The sunglasses are used only to protect the UV rays, but it doesn't cut down on any glare at all to my eyes. I have Maui Jim sunglasses, used to use Oakleys. I haven't found any sunglasses out there that has a deeply dark lens, which would be great. But other than that, would it be possible to get a doctors note so when a cop does stop me, I am fully legal because of my condition?

My hardwood floors are pretty old and it looks as though small pieces of the wood have chipped away leaving not just scratchs but actually gaps in the floor (some about as long as an inch and as wide as a centimeter). Can I just use wood filler to repair or there something better?

If one person has a sense of superiority over another because of their race, we call it racism and it is seen as the evil that it is. Unfortunately, we tolerate exactly that sense of superiority among almost all of the world's major religions. We don't even have a term like racism to describe this sense of religious superiority. We should call it "religionism."

Why can't we tear down the walls between the scripture based religions and base our relationship to the Devine on personal experience rather than holy books?

I purchased a gently-used leather starter jacket from Craigslist. There are no stains, but it smells a little musty like it's been sitting in a closet. I'd like to deoderize / clean it. What is the cheapest, but best way. I considered putting it in the cleaners, but someone told me it would cost around $50, which is too much for my budget.

Any suggestions?

Ovo-lacto Vegetarian (no Meat from ANY animal but will eat dairy and eggs)

Bored with banana sandwiches, PB&J,
Simple Salads, salsa and chips, PB & Crackers,
yogurt and pudding

I usually have juice boxes and fruit/berries

Looking for something else, any ideas (except JUST EAT MEAT, b/c it makes me sick, thank you very much) appreciated.
