I am going to meps in 3 weeks, and i know what i want to do for a fob in the army. I have a degree in telecom and am almost done with a degree in information technology. What do i do if i have the scores for the job i want but they dont have it opened? I know i will not accept anything else, but how doi i get them to realize that? will i have to threaten to walkout or go talk to another branch? have any of you had to do anything if they didnt offer you the job you wanted? how did you work around that and what were the results? what should i do?

Why is it that in most countries people care for their seniors, taking care of them and sacrificing for them till their dieing day, but in America we throw out our seniors as soon as they seem to be unable to function anymore? We put them into "homes" that basically strips them of their rights, tells them what to do, when to do it, how to do it. We pay top dollar to put our seniors in these homes, where they most often get worse. They develop illnesses that they probably would not have if not for these "homes" like bed sores and incontinence. And a lot of them are abused, physically and emotionally. Is this the right way to treat these people, would YOU want to be treated like this when you are old and "useless"?

So I've been best friends with him since forever and we dated but I was scared of a serious relationship so I kept breaking up with him but now it's way too hard to be just friends. Should I ask him out again or just keep going on feeling this way. I guess now since we're growin apart I've realized that he makes such a big impact on my daily life and I don't feel right dating other people. What we had together was special. My friends say that I should just give up on him completely but I can't get him out of my head. I can't not be friends with him but its too hard to be friends with. What should i do?

the collection agency stopped taking $100 out of my checking account a few months ago and now they want the full amount. I don't have $9000 to give them. They won't work with me. THis is a credit card. Bank of America bought out Fleet bank (the original credit) Therefore bank of America bought out my account. I had a payment plan with Encore who was the collection agent for Fleet before Fleet and Bank of America merged. What should I do? I don't have the money. I am living from paycheck to paycheck right now.
