I'm straight btw. But i have a number of close gay friends. Homophobia confuses me. i have yet to see the point in being homophobic. Some use the bible as a reason, but that also forbids wearing clothes made of more than one material.

Any gay bashing will seriously annoy me.

Come on think it over. Roman Polanski the director molested a 13 year old child. (can't even come back into the country, but we go watch hismovies) Woody Allen married his daughter (adopted) after taking nude pictures of her. He's got a movie opening now and 'nothing but good words' about him from the press.
Billy Joel married an 18 year old. I mean the list goes on and on and on. Stop and think of 'why the media' is putting him down and not others. Come on think about it. There are so many big pharmaceutical companies out there that hate the thought you won't take drugs they want you to take. And all you can concentrate is him jumping on a couch? For the most part Tom was always quiet about scientology and why doesn't he have the right to say things too?

The overwhelming response is that is it genetic (or at least biological as one person said). So if it's not a choice, doesn't that mean that it is an abnormality that we should look for a cure too?

I think nature makes it pretty clear that sex is to be between males and females, so sex with the same sex must be an abberation, possibly one that can be fixed.

And before you start yelling "I don't need to be fixed", of course you say that because you can't know any better because of your genetic disorder.

At my job interview a few days ago, when asked what I would like to do to improve myself, I mistakenly answered I wanted to improve my computer skills to the advanced level. I reiterated that my Microsoft Office Suite skills were intermediate but that I felt there was always room for improvement especially if it would help to get the job done more efficiently and quicker. The interviewer questioned specific applications and in my nervous state I let it be know that my powerpoint knowledge was basic at best but that I was practicing on tutorials to bring me up to par. They seemed unconcerned and said it was very easy to learn and the rest of the interview went well. Afterwards, I heard thru the agency I used that they really liked me but were concerned that my powerpoint skills were lacking. They want to see more people - I was the first person to be interviewed. Did I blow my chance for this job?

My computer screen is very dim, the color is not bright, especially when I have darker colors on the screen. I believe that something happened to it while I was at work, due to lightning or bad weather. Can anyone tell me step by step how to fix it? It is a Gateway EV700 model and is about 5 years old. I cant believe I looked at my wach on a Pixar film. The first half was quite slow and boring and even tough it picked up the pace a bit on the second half it did leave me with a bitter aftertaste. I mean it looked spectacular but we expect a lot more than that after masterpieces such as The Incredibles and Findining Nemo. What did you think about Cars?
