One of my ex-boyfriends sent me a 6 page letter from jail (he went to jail after we broke up - I'm still not sure for what) and after his signature, he put a "PS: Will you marry me?". My response was no response at all.

I was hitch hiking across country and a truck driver took a loong hard look at me and said....
"I just know you are the woman I want to marry, Let's go to my parents house and tell them."
I thought he was joking, I had only just me t him... but it soon became apparent he meant it...
I declined... but he was a sweet guy and I have often wondered what would have happened if I had simply accepted his offer and married him...
Hmmm weird huh.

We were driving in the car and I asked him what he thought of marriage and then i asked him to marry me. We are now in a 4 year engagement

well not me, but a friend of mine just got proposed to, but over the phone since her boyfriend is in the army.....and she's only 17....
