A few thoughts: What if Democracy is two wolves and a sheep deciding what's for dinner ? Wasn't the Nazi Party initially the democratically elected party of Germany ? Once Iraq is fully sovereign, will the democratically elected Iraqi government protect the rights of the Christian(and other religion) believers ?

I'm not knocking democracy- I'm just saying we should not be lulled into thinking that because we elect our government officials does not mean we aren't creeping towards losing freedom.

the man had wrecked the Olympic twice in 2 yaers time before he got the titanic so why would white star let him have their pride and joy ?

he had the Germanic capsized under his comand. and the Baltic ran aground while he was at her helm. but the one most know about are the Olympic mishaps frist the tug in new york where he ran over a tug while leaving the habor. but the one any titanic buff knows about was the hawke mishap. where he was leaving the hobor of south hamton and was going to fast with the Olympic. and tore the war ship the hms hawke from her morings and collided with her. this is where the conspercey theroy of the Olympicand her sister being switched out and that it was the Olympic not the titanic that sunk. but we all know that was false

You know how sometimes when you are driving to work, and you don't remember the drive? And suddenly you are in the parking lot. My life feels that way. I'm 39 now, and I can barely remember the last 20 years, almost like my life is stuck in fast forward on a VCR.
Anyone else feel this way? How can I slow this down? Feels like every day I wake up and another year is GONE, scary...

For my wife's small business, we need to share files between two computers with broadband connections to the internet. I know that one way to do this is to set one of them up with a static IP address so that the other can connect to it; but are there any other methods, perhaps using some intermediate file-sharing server? It would need to have some security associated with it, since these are private company files we're talking about.

Ive found a shop but lease ends march 2009. Does the lease then renew can rent rise drematically and catch me out? Ive had a lease before but was 999year lease so never had to worry- that though was on my flat not a commercial property which id imagne all have short leases. Unlikely but what would happen if I left early before the lease ended. I wont own the shop just rent
2nd question
My sister owns her shop but has a lease of 7 years or something if she sells when a lease only has say 2 years less would the shop value go down. She bought it for 80,000 just last year but would like to relocate?
