There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......

(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

Basically I feel that most Singaporeans think love is to find the someone special who is willing to spend his/her life with u for the rest of his/her life.

Money talks. The basic 5 "C"s are popular until today. As a man, if you have this, definitely advantage in love.

I agree with clown&joker.

BTW, individuals have different perception on whats LOVE for themselve. We cant really generalised ppl by what either the majority or the minority thinks.
