I'm 25 and I first noticed that feeling about 2 years ago, it's scary to think that it only gets faster and faster. In today's world I don't know if it's possible to slow down, time is everything, perhaps we need to take the time to appreciate the little things in life, it makes you wonder if people our age felt like this 100 years ago.

Scary, I know. It's a matter of relativity. When you are 5 years old, 1 year is 20% of your life. When you hit 20, a year is only 5%. Sorry to say you can't slow it down at all, all you can do is get the most out of every day.

Society has a way of overprojecting itself to one by consuming all of your thoughts to make you believe that working throughout the rest of your life is all that there is. Society likes to cover up the real aspects of life, therefore, stealing your joy. You must uncover your spiritual as well. This helps you understand that you are interweaved into the makeup of life. Earth, Wind and Fire wrote in a song that "life found the time to want you, can you find the time to listen?". That reminds me that spiritually, I am wanted on the physical level of life and that society is only a minute piece of the picture. You need to look within your Self and ask questions that will be revealed to you just for the asking. Society often keeps the human mind so busy with high tech, material things that create alot of noise and excitement that we forget that we also need to be peaceful and calm as well in order to be clear what direction we need to go next. So, now, we are forgetting about what we need for ourselves. You have gotten off the track and taken for granted a great deal what life is really about if you let life go by you so fast. When do you take time out for your SELF and enjoy the simple things of life - listening to a babbling brook or a bird singing its song, smell a rose or the sweetness of air, notice the brilliancy of colors in the grass/flowers or the contrast of a graying sky and the bloom of a cherry blossom or any other trees that flower, when do you enjoy listening to a toddler's voice and the innocense that it contains. When do you take the time to think and wonder about you - where you've been and where you want to go. Learn to slow it down of your life will speed even faster and more out of control. Admire the life around you, admire you around life because you and life are one in the same. Love and Enjoy who you are not by choice but by design to do what you need to do to connect with people and love your journey.

Hello. - Yes. I do not know how to slow Life down.
In my opinion, a person can be almost any age and not remember even five years passing by.
Have a nice evening. :)

This is exactly what you are looking for. This will help slow down. Peace with advice from top psychologists and religion. But you need to slow down to read it with all your attention and not rush through it. Has suggestions to do but that is your first one to read it relaxed.

You have to live in each moment... I think we find ourselves looking into the next day, next week, or even next month.... and then we loose today... if we live in the moment.. life will slow down. I used to be that way..and i have tried living in the moment.and I seem to remember...

no, your life is stuck in play, you just tend to sleep through a lot of it.
stop doing the drugs & the alcohol & time will feel like it has slowed down because you are actually living it.
If this doesn't work, just press "stop" and "eject"...

IT ONLY GOES BY AS FAST AS YOU LET IT, TRY NOTICING THE LITTLE THINGS ON THE DRIVE IN, A FLOWER, A NICE HOME YOU ADMIRE, A PARK YOU NEVER NOTICED, ECT ECT.
