When you hear a screaming baby in a restaurant or on the plane, it makes you grit your teeth, and everybody stares, But when its your own baby, do you feel different?

I work in a store. I often hear a screaming baby...It doesn't make me grit my teeh, and i don't stare the baby.
I certainly feel different.

I sure did when my kids were babies. I was really quick to respond, but my wife was better at it. She could tell what was wrong with the baby just by how it was crying.

No, not at all. The difference is I got up and took mine outside to calm them down while other parents let theirs carry on and annoy me!

When I hold a baby close and gently rock it in my arms it stops
crying in a moment or two.
