Should I keep an expensive gift (worth over $200) if I am not interested in dating the person. It was a birthday gift. I feel kind of bad keeping it. But I would feel like a heel giving it back.

After having a lot of bad trouble with my father I don't have much faith in men. I haven't spoken to him for the last 3, almost 4, years now. I am 19. I feel, if a guy likes me, that he must only want one thing; why else would he want me? I feel worthless to men...it sounds melodramatic i know, but i honestly do. I wonder why anyone would love me if my own father couldn't? I'm very pesimistic and cynical nowadays and it's really getting me down, any advice?

My friend is thinking about getting it done. does anyone know if kaiser (health insurance) covers it. I heard if your 100pds or more over weight they cover it. any ideas on how much it is. and is there any questions that we might not have thought about to ask. I have 1 daughter,age 15;and 3 sons,ages 7,11,and 12.I try so hard to keep my house up as much as possible.But it is so difficult,because,frankly...they do not care.They are always trashing the home.I know a family with 3 kids who simply HAVE given up,and live in a pig-stye.Should I do that as well?

I had an 85 ford Taurus. The transmission went out in 97. Soon after everything fell apart. I was really bummed. I loved the car. I have been a SUV mom for a long time and I think I would like to by a nice affordable used car to drive sometimes. The 95-99 Ford Taurus seem to be priced good and I like the style again. Anyone have an idea how these ones hold up? Would I be cursed again? Any other car ideas in these price ranges?

We let my brother's girlfriend babysit our son today. Not normally a problem except I just realized that she GOT HIS HAIR CUT!!!! Is it just me, or is a baby's first hair cut something that the parents should get done or at least authorize? I know it's just hair, but he's our first child and it's his first hair cut! My hubby is pissed. I have no idea what to do. Well, there's nothing I can do about the hair, but what do I do about her?
