"Many countries have disenfranchisement of sentenced prisoners. In the United States, voting privileges are denied to prisoners by some states, but several other countries (Canada and most of the countries of the European Union) allow prisoners to vote, regardless of time served, nature of the crime, etc. Some countries (and U.S. states) also deny the right to vote to those convicted of serious crimes, even after they are released from prison. In some cases (e.g. the felony disenfranchisement laws found in many U.S. states) the denial of the right to vote is automatic on conviction of a serious criminal offence; in other cases (e.g. provisions found in many parts of continental Europe) the denial of the right to vote is an additional penalty that the court can choose to impose, over and above the penalty of imprisonment, such as in France or Germany."

My mom grew up in poverty.When young,she worked hard 2 earn money so that her brothers and sisters can get proper education.When she married, it was not exactly a happy marriage but she held on for the sake of me & my brother. My father died 10 years back & she had to work again after a gap of 25 years.I became an engineer and my brother a doctor because of her hard work. i had a love marriage 3 years ago,not exactly against her wishes but she was not exactly happy with it either.Now, after a big fight, my wife has walked out of my home.and my wife has flatly refused to try to reconcile.
my mom, in her old age, has to witness all this. She is upset all day. I WANT 2 MAKE HER HAPPY, BRING SOME CHEER IN HER LIFE. HOW DO I DO THAT. PLEASE ADVICE, PLEASE HELP ME.

last night my boyfriend and i were talking about was how he works alot and doesnt tell me he is working and how i get upset because i cant get hold of him for a whole weekend sometimes. i then asked if he wanted to break up with me and totally unexpectadly he broke up with me. he wasnt harsh, and he cried and wanted to comfort me which i didnt want. later that night we were talking on msn and both couldnt believe it was over, he then began to say he didnt really know why he did it and that his head was all messed up. i want to be with this boy more than anything in the world and deep down he said he does want to be with me, how can i make him want to get back together with me because without him im completely lost. please help me.

I know there are obvious things that will give it away, but I was with a slutty girl for half a year and didnt realize it till we broke up. I had found out from other people and she admitted to sleeping with a black guys before we went out and that she was easy. She had also cheated on me. Are there signs to look for that will weed them out? I would just like to find a girl with a good heart and good intentions that i can treat like she should be treated without being sh*t on.
