falty scanner?

scanner is running but when it scans all that comes up is a blue screen any ideas

This isn't the fault of the scanner. The driver isn't compatable with your scanner. Try to download a driver from the manufacturer site. Then uninstall the scanner and clear the temp files. Then re-install the scanner. It should work
