I have $1000 that I would like to turn into $4000 in one year. What would be the best and SAFEST way to do this? In one year, the $4000 would be spent at one time in one place. I am employed, so "save $3000 more" is an option, but not the only one. Ideas? Let's see them!

We've been on for a few months but he has this friend who he sees and chats with everything and anything which makes me feel so uncomfortable. I guess I'm jealous. I know I'm a sensible but not a jealous person but this situation is driving me insane. It's so hard to admit I'm jealous of the girl but what could I do? I have discussed this with my BF in several occassions sometimes, we ended fighting. He always defend her and keeps in contact with her. I did not tell him to not get in touch with her anymore but do you think I should? They've been friends before we met. I feel guilty if their friendship would end just because of me. I think it's not my decision to do that but his. I also think that the woman should back off since he knows that her friend has a GF now. I don't know what to do and think.. help.

i was locked out of my apartment without notice for a whole night.my check was return for rent non paid, i was not given a notice,just locked out.i sit in my car all night till next morning,at 7 am i started calling the office because i needed to take my heart medication and get ready for work,but they would not let me in until around 10:30 am so i missed half days work.but i went to bank and got the money for the rent. they put the note on door so any one could see it. i was totally embarrassed by their treatment.i never been late on my rent and never had a check return on my rent since i moved here.
