Hi guys i was wondering around how much would be a fair price to have A/C installed on a 1977 camaro that used to have A/C but no longer has it.

Thanks,

It depends. Are there any pieces left? Dryer is 50 bucks or more....condensor is over 100....evaporator is over 100....compressor is a few hundred....then the lines. Go to a junkyard and get your parts off of an olds delta or another GM sedan. Good luck.

Were all the AC componants removed? If not, all it needs is to have the freeon recharged. That doesn't cost all that much. It's not cheap, like getting oil put in, but it shouldn't cost more than $100-150 to get it recharged. Possibly less.

I would reccomend checking out Vintageair.com They have a variety of air units and you can use something custom or something close to stock. Not sure if you are restoring or just putting air back in a daily driver. Hope this may help.
