I'm going to Italy for a year and want to look my best. Any suggestions? Here's what I look like (well, an overview anyway): I'm 5'11", tan with hourglass figure, dark eyes and long dark hair.....thanks for your help

I say earth tones to complement your gorgeous skin tone. Italy is pretty casual, but not like jeans and old t-shirt casual. I say a cute flowy top, a nice, pretty skirt, and some wedges. And for hair, I say something wearable under a helmet....so when that cute boy picks you up on his mo-ped, you look great, and are safe with a helmet..haha, have fun in italia!

I am not sure if you are talking about hair, make up, or clothes.... But in general, you will find the best styles in Italy itself... a little pricy, but great merchandise... Depending on when you leave I mean season wise, Natural look is the best and easiest to maintain when it comes to hair color, it will last you until you find a nice salon in Italy to get their latest cool styles...
Layers will give you more style and the best way to take care of layerd hair is by using the hot curlers, they're fast and easy.
As far as clothes, If you can afford some shopping, then I suggest you don't take too much with you and enjoy the great merchandise overseas.... they have the latest and the best from head to toe!!!
for someone your height, jeans look great with some shiny trendy tops and heals... and don't forget to accessorise
I love dresses, especially the new trend of wearing them with a big belt around the waist, pick a nice strapless dress with a matching or coordinating belt, express had some nice ones...
Last but not least, enjoy your trip.....

It doesn't matter!
I am 5'11 with an hourglass figure, green eyes and long red (natural) hair. If I showed up in Italy in a burlap bag the Guys would be all over me! Save your money for the trip! Buy something at Wal-Mart that accentuates your height and legs and go!!!

vintage wild funky clothes be your self where what u want and do your hair how ever you want!!!then after you get there look at all the hotest trends then go italy style shopping!

well if u want to look shorter you could try to make your legs look shorter with a flirty skirt about mid- lengh and some cute top that is eye catching so people could notice your outfit first. when it comes to swimsuits you could try a cute one piece. sometimes two pieces can make your shape look taller.

long shirts, with a long nicklace, I would dye to be your height, get into modeling, you can wear skinny jeans with ballet flats with a chunky belt in the middle. that is what mischa barton is doing, she id 5'10

go for the skirts. you have the gift of long legs ! show em off. lol im only 5'4 i dont have that privilege, if i did i would be rocking skirts like crazy

welll dont where your hair short or wear capris because they will just look like pants that are too short on you but be glad youre tall like a model!
