Am caring for a tortoise over the weekend and letting it roam in the garden during the day. Are there any plants that may be poisonous ie sweet peas or buzy lizzie as she seems to like these? I live in northwest UK and mainly have shrubs. Any other foods to be avoided?

I have to ask this question again because first time I got only one answer and that wasn't on the track. I know there are other regions too but please stay only in Iraq while answering.

Sometimes they slit throats of little children and women for co-operating with America and they are sometimes bombing worshipers in mosques, worse of all they are sometimes killing poor and unemployed people who just wanna earn some bread for their families. They are just killing to finish them all.

Just one example: One killer promised to give work to the poor and told them to sit into the truck and blew them away. 53 people got killed. They are worst than Nazis................

Do they really wanna finish a whole nation?

My friend (the cornfield one) has started doing triathlons. Apparently I suggested it. I feel guilty now and think I'm going to have to make it up to her by joining in.

How should I get started?
Gear?
Diet?
Training?

I swim and cycle a bit but don't like running. I'm 6' tall, weigh 95kg and am reasonably fit for a desk bunny, though there is a lot of scope for improvement.

My goal is to be able to finish third from last (I want to just pip my friend and at least one other competitor)

My female Border Collie watches TV on occasion. Not like ...ER.. or the News... etc... something has to strike her Fancy,, ) by the way her name is Fancy!) Tonight it was MeerCat Mansion! I was flipping thru the channels and she was off doing her own thing,, when I hit upon this Animal Planet Channel with the Meer cats and she went Balistic!! Mostly it is with animals that her attention tunes into, but sometimes it;s with things like Sports! Hubby is a huge Sox& Bears fan and I am a Cardinals& Bears fan so we enjoy our sports( depends on where you were raised I guess as to what type fan you are) But it so hillarious to see this BC go off at the TV!!
Hubby does not get it! I say it is because she is a smarter type breed and picks up on not only the animal shows but what excites us. Do you agree or do you think some breeds or some dogs have their own likes and dislikes of programming? Or s it just the noise that attracts them?

I met him online we chatted over the phone on for a while we really clicked on the day we were going to meet he said he needs to go for the golf game. after that we just chatted one time on line...I send him an instant message and he did not reply for four days then he called and left message at my phone . he callled me again the next day and started talking as nothing happen he said he did not got chance to see my message. But i saw him online thats not true.anyways I was busy when he called so he asked me to call him back . I called him late in the evening and told him I did not got chance before and I am little sleepy. he said then go ahead and sleep and now you call me . I did not call him back as I thought he lied for no reason or I really don't mean anything to him he is just having fun. four weeks are gone neither he called nor I but I liked talking to him when we did i was really able to connect with him...I want to know how to break the ice or just forget him and move on?

Specifically, the scanner doesn't seem to register at all. When I push the scan button, the readout tells me that it is waiting for input from the computer. But nothing I do has made the computer even acknowledge there is a scanner there.

I have this great idea of raising money to buy a cruise ship and then having all the people that donated the money come aboard and become pirates with me. We could go around the world picking up other partiers and looting areas that have party supplies or maybe just pick up more people and charge them money to hang out with us so we can legally buy party supplies. I even thought that we could have some system of goverment too, all democratic like. There would be different bars on the cruise ship with different themes. A rave bar, a rock bar, a rap bar, a country western bar, a alternative rock bar etc..., The people that frequent any one of these bars could elect senators and other goverment officials from that bar and people could vote on fresh new ideas for new missions.

A man is with a woman one time only. The man makes it very clear that he does not want a child because he just came off of a divorce and is wounded. The woman assures the man that she is on the "pill" and is not going to get pregnant. The woman gets pregnant and tells the man. He is livid that he was lied to and demands that she have an abortion. She refuses. He does not/will not be a part of this childs life. She accepts but vaguely threatens to tell his family and other child about the baby. He warns her that he will defend his child and family from her at "all costs". Eight years pass, she contacts him wondering if he has changed his mind. He refuses to acknowledge her e-mails and tells his wife of five years what has happened. She (wife)doesn't know what to do. The woman again threatens to tell his family of the child.
