I don't have a desk. My computer sits on my lap. But, next to my chair on my table, I have...

Chopsticks for my hair, a battery-powered fan, another fan that I think my sister-in-law left here, couple hair ties, an electronic thesaurus, lamp, Diet Coke with Splenda, Diet Shasta, 6 adoption books, some beads and craft supplies, two autism books, a couple revisions of my son's latest school paper, clipboard, phone headset, I think there's a phone in there somewhere, my bill box, a pen, something that might have been food, a tube of glucose tablets, a bottle of Gatorade, ream of paper, some cables that I don't know what they go to, flyer for the church luau, and a live cat (for now).

I had a scorpion on there too, but as I was looking and taking inventory, I found it, and we got rid of it. Glad you asked, I'd have found that one the hard way, if I didn't look.

let's see here, I have two monitors that are hooked together, a 160GB external hard drive, keyboard, mouse and mouse pad, some job jackets, a book on gardening, a phone, pencil sharpener, speakers, a color photo printer, a stack of cd's, my purse, tissues, water bottle, a pathetic looking plant, a marbleized wooden ball, rolodex, directory, phone book, blank cards, manuals for the Adobe Creative Suite, hand lotion, old projects that need to be put in my portfolio, a web design book, another monitor and keyboard that nobody uses, scissors, rulers, pens, pencils, permanent markers, oh wait, there's a fourth monitor, mouse, and keyboard that nobody uses (my boss won't let me get rid of them), a clock, tissues, and scrap paper. Yeah, my desk is HUMONGOUS!

I have my laptop, a printer, a lamp, my budgie cage (with budgies in), alot of pen and pencils and stuff. A comic book that my boyfriend bought me for my 18th birthday which came out on the day I was born. And about 5 glasses and 3 plates... I'm a pig at heart.

besides all the computer-related junk like the scanner, printer, tower, speakers, mouse and pad? I've got pens, pencils, bookmarks, a box of tissue, the telephone, reading glasses, ashtray, cigarettes and lighter, manicure kit, electronic thermometer, hairbrush, piles of papers, seven books, a hot pad, scissors, glass of ice and Pepsi, kitty treats, paperclip container, wedding photo in a frame, computer game CDs, antique box full of receipts, package of gum, daughter's housekey, a straw and an icepack.

I can explain everything except the icepack....

And don't even get me started about the catch-all bookshelf next to my desk!
