well its a long distance thing, were kinda talkin like we're together, but then all of the sudden she gets mad cause supposedly im not trying hard enough to be with her?..what the hell...should i jus stop talkin to her and 4get about it cause i wont be seeing her for a long while anywayz..or should i try to get things better?..i do really like this chick.

Why does the US have to be involved?? If any one had any faith they'd just let "god" handel it. Any one who has any faith in there god would not have to go to war for him. I feel sorry for anyone who belives in a god that cant fight his own battels.

I have 2 kids (1 and 3 yo) and work full time 5 days a week. I have been relying on takeout but I would like to start providing my family with home-cooked meals. I leave the office at 5, buy quick takeout and pick up kids, arriving home at 6:15, kids already hungry by then. My son eats v-e-r-y slowly and we usually finish dinner by 7:30. Quality time with family until 8, then baths and bedtime. Both kids are in bed by 9:30. Then house chores until about 10, later if there is laundry. By then I am usually tired and wanting to relax.
Where do you other working parents get time to cook?? Specific schedules will help! Thanx!

in the past week, i have lost two very dear friends; my brother-in-law's mother, & a close friend from church. i have been crying off and on since saturday when i found out about "granny-granny" being taken to the emergency room,& being in critical condition following emergency surgery. it doesn't help they live 8 hours away, & i've not seen them since thanksgiving. she passed away sunday morning, then i learned of my friend's passing -after a hard fought battle with colon cancer-(monday night) on tuesday afternoon. this was too much for me, and i broke down in tears. my husband, who has worked in the emergency rescue services for the last 15 years (currently as a paramedic), said, "i'm sorry to hear that, but if it was their time, it was their time, and there's nothing we can do. there's no point in crying over it now." is this just typical male behavior, or has he taken the emotional detachment from his job too far? when i ask him, he says i worry too much. am i just being paranoid?

Time after time, I see that there is no interest in giving true customer service anymore. Seems most corporations are set up to have no accountability and only want to take your money, and give nothing in return. What hapened to "do what yousay, and say what you are going to do"? The pitiful shame of it is that unless a person has an education in EVERY subject known to man, there is no choice but to deal with this lack of integrity. I refuse to live my life trusting no one, however I continue to get ripped off. Anyone got any suggestions how to return honor to business, short of going postal?
