first time 17...second time 18 1/2. But, we compromised on my coming back when I was 17. My sister was in all my stuff and I had no privacy, plus I had to ask for a ride wherever I went and waited forever for anyone to get me or I'd have to walk 5 miles home. So, I got my own room (small as it was I didn't care) and my parents matched me dollar for dollar for a reliable car. I finished high school and went to college one semester while living at home, then moved out into my own apartment and worked part time. I got scholarships and grants and never depended on my parents again. Except they did give me an awesome vacation to Europe when I graduated from college (that's where they are from so I stayed with my cousins). And, they helped me buy my first home. Parents are wonderful, but you have to respect them.

stay with your parents as long as you can. if your in school, save the money then move out. I was 22 and I moved into an apartment that my grandfather owned. Cheap and I was out on my own. Best of both worlds

when i was 18... and 20... and soon to be 23 (hopefully before im 24).. i know, what a loser, right?

lol

as to your question, it's a good idea to stick around your parents if you have all that stuff going on. they understand, and im sure they support the effort you're putting into your schoolwork. you will learn that you need to save money big time to get started out in this world by yourself.

If you can move out, then do it. Getting comfy with Mom and Dad won't last forever and the sooner you learn to take care of (financially and every other way) yourself, the better off you are.
It is very easy to go from living at home to being a full-time mooch. Mom and Dad are entitled to some privacy..they did their job..you're 21...time to go.

I was 18 the first time, and 20 the second time. If you and your parents get along and you can all respect each other as adults, then stay, there's nothing wrong with that.

I think it is wise to stay for a while while you are studying etc to save cash. I had not option but to move when I started at University so I had to leave home at 17.

It really depends from when you come from. In Asia we do not move out of our parents house till we marry.
So I guess, you have to be prepared both mentally and physically for this change.
