I would use a tampon. For one pads aren't always fool proof and it might swell like a diaper in the water.

Swim in a pad?...NO WAY!
#1 it would be very UNSANITARY.
#2..EVERYONE would KNOW you had on a PAD!
#3 It wouldn't stay in your swimsuit.
#4. If your thinking of swimming in a pool, Blood will be everywhere and ppl will see it...GROSS.
#4 If it's in the Ocean or SALT WATER.....SHARKS will GET you.
(They can smell blood over a MILE way.)
Use a Tampon...only YOU will know about it.

Pads are unpredictable when they get wet & you will end up losing them in the water! Go with a tampon & remove it immediately after swimming & replace it with a new one!

Only a tampon chick. A pad is nasty to swim in I would imagine and very unsanitary due to it not catching the drainage and it going in the pool.

You COULD use either BUT I strongly suggest tampons, because if you use a pad it would definitely look AND feel like a diaper...

Pad, no. Tampon, yes, but be careful to tuck the string away, so it doesn't fall out of your bathing suit.

use a tampon. A pad will dissolve in the water (and it will show too).

There is no point, take it from a swimmer. In water, your blood won't flow so it really won't make a difference. In any source of water, your period will stop...if you feel like you must use one or the other though, use a tampon. I'd advise you not to, because it won't matter, as no blood will come out. :-)
