My partner and I live in South Africa. He is going to university in the USA for one year and since we are not married I am not legible for an F2 dependant visa and therefore cannot go with him. He says that he does not want to marry me to keep the US bureaucrats happy. I will have to return to my country of birth since we are vacating the house we have been renting. he does should I continue with him even it is clear that he has no intention of formalising our relationship? Should I trust a person who is obviously willing for us to be separated instead of getting married so we can stay togeather? Does he love me? What do I do? It is a very difficult situation for me, my heart is broken into pieces, please anyone that can advise!!

it started with what looked like white scars on a few fish, i thought they had scraped on objects in tank, now they have what looks like ick. fins are ragged and they are not eating and just lay on the bottom.I treated them for ick but several have died. their mouths have turned white and their eyes are white . now there is this white cottony growth covering the bottom of my tank. water is clear and ph levels are in normal range. leaving for vacation in a week. any help will be wonderful thanks very much

I believe very strongly in the power of thought and the power of prayer. My friend had a bunch of kids real young (5) ...quit school, and has generally just had a really hard life. SHe is trying to so hard to get her ged now and wants to make a change in her life. She is taking her test right this second. Will you all please say a short prayer that she will pass? I think it'll help! This may sound funny, but I have read upon studies about prayer and it is worth a try!

I start practicing English since last month. I want to speak fluently, elegantly & write effectively with correct English. As I am working in a trading company, I need to stay at office 9:00 am to 9:00pm. During my office time I am not always busy. In the morning I first update my incoming e-mail message & reply to our suppliers & concerned people according to the supervision of our Director. Second, I manage time to read silently a story & after lunch hear a songs by microphone with rapt attention.In the afternoon when I get some time I try to write the theme / summary of the story & song with simple English which I read & heard. After office hour I return home by bus. It takes 1.15 minutes to reach our home. In the bus I soliloquize (speak to myself) English on my read topics & memorise imprtant words from my diary. But I can not feel that my English is improving. Please advice me a new process. Please!
