Yes, you should be concerned. Please consider calling your doctor today, and scheduling an appointment. The symptoms may indicate your diabetes has progressed to the point that it is causing circulatory problems in your legs.

The two pm sleepiness may be natural (even people with normal blood sugar get sleepy about then), due to you having taken a too big a dose of your diabetic medication at lunch, or from not having eaten the best possible lunch for your diet. My sleepies happen at 1:30 pm, though, on most days despite what I eat for lunch. Just try to do something active for about 15 minutes at 1:30 pm, if possible.

If you are interested in finding out why your body is doing what it is doing, I suggest reading "Entering the Zone" by Barry Sears, Ph.D. To find the link to his organization, you may use the link in the library at www.hufa.org.

Oh Yes, The last entry explains it all. It's possible to lose a limb if it's not address. If you find it hard to control your sugar, then there is a pump that will automatically inject insulin at the right time, when a devise that measures blood sugar through the skin, is installed. These two items are state of the art, and probably are very costly, but if that's what's needed then do it.

Yes you have what is called Lymphademia. It is swelling of the extremities. What is happening is your lymphatic, circulatory, venous systems are not functioning correctly. They are supposed to move that fluid back up and out of your extremities. This will call nueropathy(nerve damage) and sores and wounds that will lead to infection and seeing that there is no circulation in that area no medication will get there, how can it. You need to get someone to manually massage the fluid back up and wear compression stockings and possibly a sequential pump to help. You need to exercise, ride a bike, swim, something light to start off with.

to put it short and sweet YES!

Diabetes is a metabolic condition which means it affects all of you other organs, so this swelling could be a kidney situation (End stage renal disease) it could also be a heart situation (Congestive Heart Failure) so checking with your Dr is the best idea
