and am looking for a job in: Bath, Bristol, Wells, Yeovil etc. But do you know where is closer and easy to commute to? as I do not know the areas at all

Bristol has the most jobs, obviously, as it's the biggest city in the area, followed by Bath. If you can get a job in Shepton, Wells, Glastonbury, Street or Midsomer Norton / Radstock, you'll be laughing, as they are all easy and quick to get to.
If you don't drive, the local buses are poor. As for jobs in Bristol and Bath, it depends on whereabouts in the city you work - the South parts of both would be better for you.
By the way, it's exactly 1 (one) hour by bus from Bristol to Wells, and another 16 minutes to get to Shepton Mallet

I hate to contradict Lee, but Shepton Mallet is getting on for 35 miles from Bristol - I live in the Bristol area - it takes 2 hours at least to get to Bristol from Wells by bus, and even longer from Shepton Mallet. I would try to get a job actually in Shepton Mallet - but that will be difficult as the major employers in the area are making a lot of staff redundant.

Yeovil is about 20 miles from Shepton Mallet, about a 30 minute drive.

shepton mallet is about 25 miles away from bristol and bath. if u dont mind traveling to work then bristol be best bet as it is a bigger city to get work. better still dont move to shepton mallet as people there shag there cousins ans is a bit in bred there!

Shitand smellit? Not the nicest of places to be but plenty of jobs in Yeovil or Bristol.
