Are good just because you want into Heaven? There seems to be, on this board anyway, this belief Christians are only good because they are scared of God, and want into Heaven. So, to dis-spell this belief, how many of you are good, tolerant, nice, and kind because you want to be, because its your nature, and not just for Heaven?

I'll start it off. I am good and kind and tolerant and nice by nature, not because I think its getting me into Heaven, but because thats just the person I am. Who else?

He was fine a couple of hours ago. I noticed about half an hour ago his head is slightly tilted to left but it doesn't seem like he has any dizziness. It's about 2 o'clock in the morning in my country and I'm home alone without a car so I cannot take him to a vet at the moment so a quick answer will help a lot. Thank you very much. By the way he is a Yorkshire terrier and 13 years old.

A Musician and a Songwriter living in East London have an idea for a contemporary re-writing of a very old piece of musical theatre. At the moment we have no backing/money, etc, just the idea. We're also somewhat lacking in theatrical experience (though we have had some...). We need a theatre person with a feel for musicals and who knows how to put shows on and who has a bit of spare time. Brian Mulrooney is flashing back into my mind where he spent his time saying yes Mr. Regan and singing when Irish eyes are smiling. Now it's Steven Harper . Canadians are being killed by Israeli aggresion and all Harper did was photo copy George Bush's speech ...........How can he ever pretend to be an impartial Canadian PM when he acts like the branch manager to Bush.

How can we motivate the opposition parties to topple the government and get an election called.

And no I don't care that the Canadians being killed are of Arab or Lebonese background - they are Canadians - the government gave them citezenship and that is all that should count.

Not condemming Israel for killing our citezen's any of them just for the oppurtunity to kiss Bish's butt is unacceptable .

we've had my rescued springer for 2 weeks since then she has had diarrhoea, around 4 times a day. shes been to the vets, they gave her some prebiotics and some chicken and rice food they sell. shes been on that a week now and shes still no better. shes also for the last week been on worming powders (for lung worm apparantly) which i dont think are helping the diarrhoea but the vet said to keep taking them. has anyone any ideas. i dont know if i should stick with the food the vets gave me at £1.20 a tin and hope it starts to clear up after the wormers have finished (tommorow). Can anyone reccommend a particular brand or diet which will help, ive heard that a completly dry food diet can help. she seems her usual self wants to go out but the vets have said she need to rest. she's also very skinny. any ideas please?

I have a small cat who just miscarried two precious babies.....was so sad. Is it better for her state of mind (so to speak) to have a successful litter before getting spayed? OR, would it be easier on her just to get her spayed now.....and if so how soon after the miscarriage should we do this. Thanks!

Or is that a tactic to harrass us into hanging the phone. Everytime I call a bank, large company, government agency, etc. I get this: "Your Call Is Important To Us, Please Stay On The Line" message. The problem is they repeat this every 15 seconds, like we forgot our call was important to them 15 seconds ago. Why do they feel the need to remind us 4 times per minute. Also, their Muzac and advertisements loop on the line while Your Call Is Important is really HARASSING and just wants to make you hang up.
