This job market is tough so be prepaird to struggle for a while. College was NOT a mistake. It dosn't matter what you have study. Take the time (if you can) and really begin to search for the job you want. If you get interviews she enthusaim and excitement.
look for jobs by services like monster, hotjobs and career builder.
Above all begin the process of networking with other people.
I have a degree in general studies and I make a good living. I did go to graduate school but I made a lot of money before that.
I wish you the best of luck.

If you are close to completing your degree, please know that your degree is not so much a statement to a potential employer as much as a sign that you went to college and achieved a goal. Just having a degree, even if it is not in the field you end up having a career, is very important overall. I had to work full time and go to school part time, taking a very very very long time to finish a degree, but the difference in pay and the ability to show employers that although it took a while, it was only positive.
If employment in your field is not available in your town from your resume searches, try either relocating or having the help of an employment staffing service, who may have leads that you were unaware of.
Finish your degree!!

Wow... I'm shocked at your grasp of the English language. If you're sending resumes and applications that look like your question, it's no wonder you're not getting interviews. Help is on the way! You'll need a friend to proof-read all your resumes, letters, etc. before you send them off. Consider hiring someone to help you if that doesn't work out. Regardless, you need to finish your college education... you'll be glad you did. A degree can open doors for you that otherwise remain forever closed.

Be sensible. If you want a decent job and some self respect in your life, you better stay and get your degree first. Then you can decide what career you want. Starting some thing and then getting fed up and stopping, will get you no where except drifting on the wind.

Huh? Apparently they no longer teach about punctuation or sentence structure in college anymore. Perhaps you should have someone versed in the English language review your job applications.
Perhaps you're looking in the wrong fields for jobs. Did you graduate? Are you aiming too high for someone who's probably just entering the job market?
