summer rain with your special someone

Not ALL white people think this, I know that. But I live in Virginia, and quite a lot of them think that way here. I went out to dinner with a white friend the other night. Nothing special, just two friends hanging out. If Rocky and Bullwinkle showed up at that restaurant wearing pink polka-dot thongs, they wouldn't have got as many stares and disapproving looks as we did. My friend noticed it too; trust me, he'd have to be dead not to notice. Isn't this the year 2006? I think it's time for EVERYONE to recognize that racism is still a big problem. What do you think?

For 5 years, I was in a relationship with a crystal meth addict. I watched him go on a downward spiral. He lost everything because of drugs. About 2 years ago, I got so fed up, I severed all ties with him except the occaisional phone call just to see how he is doing. I called him last week, just to talk for a few minutes, and he sounds horrible. Last time I saw him in person, around October of '05, he looked very sick and skinny and just aweful. His family is close to worthless and I don't think he has any friends left. I can't help but worry about him. If he doesn't stop using, I am afraid he will die. I have very limited knowledge about meth. I never got into using with him and I really don't know what he is going through, but if there is a way I could help him, I would like to try.

Divorced after 10yrs from a man that cheated on me throughout the entire relationship with multiple women. I now have met a man that loves me implicently and there are times that I don't think that I could love him any more, but then red flags occur, I think see signs that he might not be "the one". I believe that things happen for a reason and believe that he is in my life for a reason, but I am too afraid to allow myself to completely trust that he'll never leave or hurt me. I don't want to go through another divorce. We got engaged w/the understanding that I couldn't say when, but now I have people pushing me to go through with the marriage because I am pregnant. I know that I have to make it legal in God's eyes, but I am petrified to get hurt again! I am just so afraid to make it legal. He knows my fears and does not pressure me, but I know that this would make him happy. He is a good man, I just need to figure out if he is "the one" or if it is my fear of marriage.

I am looking to view a website that somebosy else viewed on my computer ( ibook g3 900mhz running tiger) and then they cleared the history in safari. How do i find it? ( at least i think they cleared the history, it wasnt there when i turned the computer on)
