I know so many women out there who have been going out with their boyfriends for 6-7 years, without any prospect of marriage. Since when is this acceptable?! Do women have any dignity anymore?

Girl, I am wondering the same things. A lot of women I know have no standards for a man. No job - oh that is okay - no car or that is ok - cheats - oh that is okay. I think we as women need to demand more from a partner before we start giving up the goods.
Also it's not like you are making a blanket statement - you are just seeing what I see. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone. So folks need to calm down.

To be honest the reason why men or women aren't really looking for marriage is because they are living in the lifestyle and what i mean by that is we move in with each other we have sex with each other we tend to pay half of each others bills we don't try to look else where for a spouse we honor each other we are best friends we have children together that is what the couples of today say about each other and that reason is half of us don't know better because today that is all you see and by that we don't want more because we don't know more if we told our mates that we would like to wait for marriage there would be more responsible people because a marriage is a bond and we would not allow it to break

That is such crap. You make it seem like all men are dispicable. Maybe you should take a look in the mirror before you ask such a nonsensical question. ALL women do not have low standards. Lots of them are quite picky.

Before some people can answer that question I think you need to be a little bit more spacfic when you use the phrase low standards,I think alot of Men have low standards when it comes to women

I dated my husband for 7 years before we got married and it worked out fine. We lived together for 6 of those 7 years and both knew that we'd eventually get married. Marriage is simply a piece of paper to me...the love was always there.

You need to stop making broad generalizations about women. Not all women are like that. If you have a problem with a certain woman doing that, then ask her about it.

That's a good question. I was one of those women for a long time...NO MORE! No more losers or a$$holes for me! Being alone is better than being with a guy who has nothing good to offer you.
