If a parent has a risk of a certain disese, and the gene is not found in their baby, could it still be passed on to the next generation, or is it stopped forever?

My 4 month old kitten developed a fever and head tilt. The vet tested her blood and did an ear swab, which was negative. We treated her with 3 different antibiotics and an ear treatment. The fever went away, but the head tilt remains. She is otherwise healthy and playful, no weight loss. She has had this for 1 month now.

The vet has seen her twice and has no idea what to do now. The kitten has a slight balance problem because of the head tilt and appears at least partially deaf.

If she head an ear infection, I assume the treatment treated the infection. Why does she stll tilt her head?

Niether the mother, father or 2 sibliing kittens developed this problem, so it is not contagious and probably not heriditary.

Will she be like this from now on? Will she get better? Can I help her?

Thank you for your suggestions.

I have no more people I can call friends. I'm would never say I'm better than anybody but my old group of friends are into things that aren't me anymore. I don't do drugs anymore, I don't drink, smoke, party everyweekend, or do anything unhealthy or useless. I'm trying to really enjoy life in its simplist form. Now I just live healthy with strenuous exercise and there's no one there to hang with. Most people my age (22) drink and all that and I just don't want to be around it but there's nobody to kick it with....

I run a site where you can sell your stuff, or barter or just give it away (to keep landfills less full) Anyway, a member on there posted that she was selling COUPONS for gymboree. It was 75 off purchase of 150. She had 3 of these types of coupons and sold them for 33 dollars for all.

Do you think its morally right to sell free coupons?

What is better in the eyes of both Man and God? To act with love, compassion, morality under the "wrong" religion or to violently force others to captulate to the only "true" faith- who does God (and man for that matter) favor? What about people that don't believe in God, are unsure or simply don't belong to any faith but act with great morality, and a love, respect for others? Just curious on peoples opinions and I hope I get a broad spectrum of various faiths (and agnostics and atheists) too.

My son was refused a job because he had a goatee...I read somewhere that some people consider a person with facial hair to be untrustworthy....I guess that is why politicians are mainly clean shaven!

I needed to brush up on my Bible since all I remember from my parental enforced Sunday School were the really scary parables, like maybe my mom and dad could sacrifice me and God and the Devil can make bets behind your back… So I went to look for a Bible and lo and behold there are like 50 of them! And that does not include the study guides! When I went into the religious store (and got passed the fact I did not immediately burst into flames) the clerk who was very nice, asked what religion I was…What? (Insert head doing double take here) when I was a kid there was only one, it was black and it had all my family’s names in it.
While I was busy mentally packing my beliefs in the agnostic file than after College trying to delete them and couldn’t, so I recycled them under atheism- you guys were busy writing like ,100 Bibles!
So here is my question. Are you really following God’s word or some weak interpretation of it? And on a lighter note which Bible should I buy?

The oldsters played this when I was a kid. Kinda swingin'. I was in Goodwill and ALMOST bought the album for $1.00. But then I figured every thrift store and garage sale has one, so I decided to hold out & maybe only spend 50 cents next time.

OK guys n girls..... I am collecting a list of NEVER for publishing in my yahoo 360. Everyone knows a few NEVER from his/her own experience and will never dare to do it again. I want you guys to tell me what you strongly believe "one should NEVERt do" because you had personally know it's harmful. For example my NEVER starts with "Never work on electricity with a wet hand". Yea, you guessed right. I got a shock and thrown away. Luckily I escaped with minor injuries. One of my friends has been to a doctor because she was careless with his bf. So I have added one more NEVER to my list recently: "Never let a guy penetrate you without protection". Now come on everyone.. please share your NEVER with us.
