Yes very normal. It is a normal function. Both girls and boys do it themselves for a while and if they enjoy it they can continue to do so. In the case of children, It is important not to make it seem dirty, but that they shouldn't do it when others are around.

er yeah... and be facinated with anything that vibrates ie washing machine, tootbrush, harry potter nimbus brooms (yup some moron didn't think there may be a problem in making them vibrate).
