Years ago a "friend" of mine dumped a stray cat on me even though I said I didn't want it. I have been taking care of it for years. I recently asked my "friend" to take it back and he said no.
This cat 1) scratches my furniture 2) scratches my carpet 3) demands too much attention and literally bugs me 4) makes the place dirty 5) makes it impossible for me to have guests since it bugs my guests and is not well mannered.
In short, the cat makes me miserable. (I am also slightly alergic to it)
What's the easiest way to get rid of it? I don't want to do something mean like abandon it, but I also don't want to put up ads trying to find a loving home. I mean, that pisses me off. Why do I have to do go through that kind of a hassle when this cat was dumped on me to begin with? Putting up ads will take forever too since everyone wants a new kitty, not a former stray cat.
So please suggest an easy, quick way to get rid of it.
