The U.S. Mint has reported that, for the first time in history, the cost of making pennies now eclipses the value of the coin (i.e., it now costs 1.2 cents to make a 1 cent coin). This is due to higher metal prices, specifically zinc.

So, do you consider the penny a "nuisance coin"? Would you rather get rid of it and round off prices to the nearest nickel? I have two 8-month old lab pups. I recently let them out of their cement floor pen so they could get exercise and play in my back yard. Now, it's starting to look like a mine field with holes everywhere. Any reasonable suggestions on how to keep them from digging?

I've been thinking in going to somewhere else apart from Bangkok when i'm there with my friends. Do you think Kanchanaburi is a good place to visit? I have seen Edelbrock Power Packages, any recomendations? Also, has anyone used the Edelbrock EFI kits? I am really interested in seeing if anyone has put one of these kits on a motor. Just as a FYI, the engine is from a 1973 Nova and I would like to keep the original engine instead of using a crate.

We are all in this very large family of God, and in our family we have some disagreements..NO one is denying that..but when we are attacked this family comes together. When I see a Catholic attacked..I feel attacked...when I see a Baptist attacked I come running..because it's my family.
I really love to see how we support each other when someone attacks the Bible, or Jesus. It seems that we all drop our denomination label and we are just "Jesus People" defending our brothers and sisters in Christ!

Europe

Christianity becomes entrenched as part of European culture as a result of Constantine's wishes.

Africa

European christians invade Africa, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

North America / Australia

European christians invade, steal land from the native population, nearly wipe out the native population and then come in such droves as to come to completely dominate the area after several generation.

Central America / South America / Phillipines

European christians invade, kill hundreds of thousands, enslave others, steal land, destroy local traditions and beliefs and replace them with christianity.

The spread of christianity worldwide doesn't quite seem as glorious now does it ?

Islam doesn't fare much better.
