You are only in the family of God if you have Jesus as your personal Lord and savior. Besides that the different denominations of religion are more so how each group decides to teach and live their lives for God. Should we attach each other? Definitely not! If you love God then you are to love others as yourself. You can't do that and attack other people. I agree that we need to all come together and stand up for God. I just don't think that will happen in this day and age. There is too much corruption in the world today.

Yes, I agree with most of what you said, but there are people from all of those denominations that are not really Jesus followers.
Yes, I have learned a lot about the Bible from listening to people that are Presbyterians and Lutherans.
I'm a Southern Baptist. My denomination likes to really focus on getting people baptized and into the church...unfortunately a lot of the people really haven't been converted. Because of this, my denomination has to preach lightly to keep these people in the pew.
Since I'm not a baby in Christ, I usually have to listen to some other denomination's preaching so I can hear something with substance.
As long as people are Christian's and are teaching the Bible accuately then I have no problem with them.

I wouldn't say that denomination has to do with whether or not one is in this family of God. Ephesians 5:6-8 Let no one deceive you with empty arguments, for because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the disobedient. So do not be assiciated with them. For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. LIVE AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT. So the point I'm trying to get across here, is that I don't think that we will stand before the Lord on judgement day and be asked what denomination we are. Either you have faith in Jesus Christ, repent of you sins, and live as children of light; or you continue in the ways of darkness. "The church", meaning all believers in the Lord Jesus, is considered the bride of Christ; not one particular denomination. So if these things are true of you then rejoice that as Romans 8:16-18 says, we are children of God; and if children, then heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, even in our suffering so that our bodies may one day be glorified.

DISAGREE.
Biologically, a family is determined by their common tie, which is the DNA.
On the other hand, family of God is determined by a common tie, which is the teachings of Christ as written in Matthew 12:50
"For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. "
The mere fact that they are not sharing the same docrine means that they do not belong to the One. In 2 parties arguing , it is either one of them is correct or both of them is wrong.
However, if someone is being attacked, whether catholic, baptist or even atheist, AS LONG AS they are in the right side, I WILL DEFINITELY SUPPORT HIM. But if they are wrong, I WILL DEFINITELY DISAGREE for it is written in I Corinthians 13:6: Love rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Yes and no.
All Christians are in the family of God.
But I disagree with your second statement. As Christians, we are all called on to love and defend all our neighbors including our enemies, not just our Christian brothers and sisters.
This is one of the messages of the parable of the Good Samaritan.
With love in Christ.

Hey Indiana
You left out buddhists, Hindus, athiests and a whole lot of other good loving people. We are all Gods childern. God saw value in every soul that ever lived or they would not be here. If God saw value in them, isn't it a bit silly for us to be judging them or excluding them?
Jesus ask us to love them all. I looked carefully and there seemed to be no (except for) in his request that we love our neighbors.
Love an blessings

some worship saints; some say you should speak in tongues and then you'll know your saved. You should follow your Lord Jesus and be an example to the world. Read the bible and be led by the Spirit of God. No one knows who really belongs to God so we can't judge others we need to keep our own life and relationship with Him in check.

I dont agree.
Catholics worship a Triune God.This is not a Bible teaching.
Lutherans broke away from the Catholic faith but still use relics in worship and still worship a Triune God.The Bible warns us to avoid idols in worship.(1John5:21
Baptists are divided in their beliefs from one location to another location.(1Cor.1:10)
Pentecostals are also very much divided.They 'speak in tongues' even though Paul said it would be done away with(1Cor.13:8)
One thing all these religions do have in common is the fact that they do not follow Bible principles and teachings.They are all part of Christendom which has fused pagan teachings in with apostate christianity
There is one religion however that maintains seperateness from this world of immortality and Bible falsehoods.That religion is Jehovahs Witnesses.
They believe in one true almighty God,whose name is Jehovah.They believe that Jesus Christ is Jehovahs only begotten son and not God himself ie.part of a trinity.
They do not believe that man has a immortal soul that outlives the fleshly body.They dont believe that everyone goes to heaven(Ps.83:18;John3:16;
Eccl.9:5;Ps37:9-11,29;Pr.2:21).
Micah 4:5-"For all the peoples,for their part,will walk each one in the name of its god,but we for our part,shall walk in the name of Jehovah our God,to time indefinite,even forever."
I just need to add.Take a look at Ireland.How long have Catholics and Protestants been killing each other.
Then we had the massacre in Africa,between the two tribes of different faiths.The world over you have one faith waging war with another faith.This cannot have God's blessing or support.Jehovahs witnesses are the only faith that will not take arms against another human being.The are the only religion that admonishes Jesus' words found at John 13:35-"By this all will know that you are my disciple,if you have love among yourselves."

Not true.
"For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander into myths" (2 Tim. 4:3–4).
