What's a cool party theme? Like just a get together with friends, nothing big.?

Have a murder mystery party! Give each person a character to dress up as (for example: nerd, detective, superheroe) When everybody arrives you have them all pick sheets of paper. Either one or two of the sheets will say killer and the rest will say victim. Tell everybody not to announce what's one their papers. Now you guys just do normal party stuff like play charades or watch a movie or dance. Whoever is a killer waits until a whatever time to tell somebody that they are dead. Remember it can't be too obvious or else everyone will guess who the killer was too soon. So when a victim is told that their dead, they don't act dead right on the spot. They can wait a few minutes and then all of a sudden scream and fall right in the middle of everybody. As victims continue to fall anybody who isn't dead already can make a guess as to who the killer is if they think they might have an idea. Once the killer is found out you can do it all over again.
Trust me this is really fun! I'm 17 and my friends and I did this last year and we all had a blast.

i actually have the same problem with yours as to what theme our party should have. how about a sort of a flashback/blast to the past theme? where the music that will be played were the hit songs when you were younger, something everyone can reminisce to. you can serve food like your favorite comfort food, snacks or desserts that you loved eating when you were kids. then im sure once everyone gathers together, you'll be talking the whole night about memorable events from your past. :)

There are lots of great party themes that I have seen lately. You can do a luau party and have all kinds of hawaiian foods or you can do a 60's party and have foods like those things that our mother's cooked and we all hated, but would love now. A really cool thing to do is a spanish tapas (appetizer) party; or even a fondue party. There are lots..... Have fun!

How about beer olympics:

1. Beer pong
2. Flipcup
3. Quarters
4. Canoe Races (put beer into icecube trays, and suck out each one with straws - first one to the end wins)
5. Treasure chest - once everyone passes those events, they group up into groups of 2-3 and there is a box with various things, they have to finish whatver is in there (a 40-oz of beer, a cigar, candy, etc)

Try a 50s theme, Ranch/country theme,cross dressing (funny) Hollywood theme, or a horror theme (scary) or the good old toga party. Good luck and have fun.

Do you all have something in common, like a sport? You could have a sports theme and play soccer or softball or something like that. That way you could serve hamburgers and hot dogs, which are easy to make and pretty cheap, and it would go right along with the theme.

Luau... We just had one, they can be real fun with some creativity! Have everyone wear hawaiian shirts or bathing suits, make cocktails, non-alcoholic if underage. Play limbo, put on some music, have a tikki bar.
