Why do people say that evolution is a fact? I am not pushing creationism. But to say that evolution is a fact is to lie. It is call the "theory" or evolution because it hasn't been proven there is evidence that supports the hypothesis but it could easily support other theories. To say that is a fact is the same as those people that say Jesus is your savior is a fact or every part of a religous text is a fact. Be honest.

A lawyer and a blond were sitting next to each other on the long flight from Melbourne to Perth. The lawyer leans over to her and asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde just wants to sleep so she politely declines and faces the window to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists and explains that the game is really easy and a lot of fun. He explains "I'll ask you a question and if you don't know the answer you pay me $5 and vice versa."

Again she politely declines and tries to get some sleep. The lawyer, now somewhat agitated says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5 and if I don't know the answer I will pay you $500." This catches the blonde's attention and figuring that there will be no end to the torment unless she plays, agrees to the game.

The lawyer asks the first question, "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" The blonde does not say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5 bill and hands it to the lawyer. Now it's her turn.

well, here it goes... i've been with my ex on and off for the past three years..i gave him more chances than you can think off after he broke my heart several times. i think i am too soft. so he left me to further his studies in england, it was his choice, he told me 'maybe he doesn't love me enough'..over the phone during my major exam period. (yeah..inconsiderate!) then i haven't heard from him for about three months then he sent me an email 'sending his regards', i didn't reply for a couple of months and just recently he sent me another one (long one), telling me about his time over there and the ppl he meets etc. and about how he'll never forget the past memories of us...and that he'll treasure it in his heart forever blabla. i told him before he left that if he needs a listener i will be the person to listen to all his problems and help him out etc. but then things turned out sour and now in this email he supposedly wants meto b some1 he can talk 2. wat shall i do? is he over me?

I am curious if any of you Bible thumpers or Kuranaholics out there have ever read anything else to challenge your world view or are you so closed minded that you simply ignore any alternate view of reality.

Can any of you explain the difference between a hypothesis and a theory? How about a brief explanation of relativity or super-string theory. Maybe even the meaning of E=mC2
