We already started. Ever hear of Lucy the sheep? She's the first animal clone. Cloning is not playing God either, it's simply the next answer in medicine. It's the billion dollar-pharmeceutical business that will not allow organ-replacement surgery to replace the pill market. All it's gonna take is a close family member to suffer the pains of a debilitating disease before these greedy sob's abandon the playing God argument and accept organ cloning as the perfect, logical answer to saving lives.

I am convinced that human cloning is very much on-track and happening now.
I arrived at this conclusion whilst watching the Ryder Cup a couple of years back. The player's wives all looked identical and their behaviour and dress was uniform. For some reason, the word "Stepford" entered my conciousness...
Joking aside, human cloning may be technically possible, but it's such a moral and ethical minefield that the funding required will probably never be available.

Cloning is not 'creating' anything - merely 'messing with' what is there.. We have been doing that with animals recently, but have been doing it with plants for a long time. I am not sure I totally agree with full human cloning in laboratories, but cloning for 'parts', merely growing what is needed in small dishes, seems harmless and is being done. The body naturally clones us if we are split at conception (twins!).. Have fun learning...

I'm sure they've cloned humans already. I think the real question should be how did they turn out? the technology exists. its been proven that it works i.e. dolly. and they're telling us that no humans have been cloned. come on...

Well, many animals have been cloned.
Dogs, cows, mice and such...perhaps the most famous, a sheep.
Have you heard of Dolly?
The first successful attempt at such a thing.
I'm sure that one day we will experiment on humans ...
