The best think you can do is read aloud aloud on a daily basis or as much as you can. Check out Usborne books Phonics/early readers books. They are fun to read and introduce kids to the phonetic sounds of our language (without them even knowing it).

I like programs that are free. Starfall.com is a free program on line. They also have a lot of resources for parents and teachers.
