My ten month old daughter pressed something on the keyboard. I have no idea what she did. Now I can barely read the words on the screen because they are so small. How can I change them back to regular size?

I believe that the majority of citizens in the US, unless belonging to minority groups or educated in systems theories and the effects of oppression, believe in the old adage that people who are in need simply should pull themselves up by the bootstraps. Often oversimplification of social problems compounds the problem and leaves those in need without the help they need. Conservatives would call this position whiny liberalism which is exactly the removed and callous position which is making problems in the US and around the world worse. It is not chance that conservatives being in power in the most influential and powerful nation in the world correlates with the worst foreign relations the US has had in decades. Imagine for a minute that those in need cannot simply pull themselves up by the so-called bootstraps. Imagine that hunger, poverty, crime, are directly linked to social systems and dynamics which need to be change by those in power. If true, what would it mean for you?

I cant stand the fact that my ex is happy while i'm feeling miserable. Cant get to clean the flat, cook or eat.
Cant stand staying alone at home and I think my friends are getting tired of me talking about my ex.
The thing is I'm so hurt for what he did to me. I know he's having a great time right now, partying,..and whatever else he's doing. I saw him with two of his exes just after we split up and its only been a week! How can men move on so quickly?

I'm primarily interested in hearing from African Americans on this issue: The "N word" is racist and ugly and great progress had been made towards eliminating it from use in American society. So why has this word be resurrected as a casual greeting between blacks? Isn't the continued existence of this word offensive? Why is it OK for actor Samel Jackson to use it more often than "the"? Why isn't Jessie Jackson all over this issue? (He would be if whites were saying it - in life or on screen.)
