Where is this country?
Because this country to me would be Ireland, and it would be the guy from Dublin that "invented" the binary code, otherwise we all wouldn't have pc's now-a-days ;) :P

I don't think there are very many. Henry Kissinger is our greatest political thinker. My pastor is a great thinker. But by and large Americans have not been instructed in the disciplines
of the mind necessary to be great thinkers.

The most obvious answer is that they come from every walk of life in every area of the country. There are great thinkers in science, mathematics, political science, anthropology, art, and literature. Most don't know them when they see them, as some are poor communicators and many are not famous.

Everyone in this country is a great thinker. Most just choose not to think. I haven't figured out why, yet.

They were run off in the Clinton/ Dole election. The country didn't want thinkers, heroes or economists. We wanted Elvis to be Pres.

if we had great thinkers they would think of a way to fix this countries mess, we have thinkers but there busy,

The universities. Ivy league or not, most cutting edge research occurs at universities. It also depends on what specific field you're talking about.
