I understand how groups like the Nazis used racist propaganda to unite the Germans and brainwash the majority of the population, but that was when communication between peoples was restricted. Today the entire world is connected via the internet, television, ect. and a much more excepting place. In our modern society where diversity and tolerance is taught and expected why do inviduals still cling to racist lies?

Dumb question but...

Are drywall plugs only necessary for heavy items? I am hanging curtain holdbacks and they are very light. The package came with screws and plastic plugs, but are the plastic plugs really necessary?

Im not that medically knowledgeable in any way, but from what ive read online and in magazines, im starting to get woried about my mom that she might be showing early signs/symtpoms Shes 56 now and shes tought grade school most of her life She deffinitely hasnt had much to relax about in her life Recently she's been acting noticably different in many ways or moreso steps The first thing I noticed was that her behavioral patterns were changing like things that she wouldnt really pay attetion to originally would get on her nerves and she would get aggressive about them After that started to lessen or at least i got used to it she started forgetting common things like keys and where she put her purse which i didnt really think about until it started happening multiple times every day Now shes getting to the point of looking like she saw a ghost when she misses an exit on interstates now shell ask me 2 do somthing repeatedly w/in th same day if i say NE thing 2her about it she wnt listen.

In the next day or two, I will be going to my college's freshman orientation. The size of the college is bigger than the town I live in! I don't know anyone else going to the orientation session that I am, and I was hoping for a few pointers on meeting people? Usually, I'm a pretty good people person, but sometimes when I don't know anyone, it's a little harder. I need something that will really work - not the cheesey "Nice shoes, wanna be friends?"
