how do you know what programs to keep and what are just using up space cause 2 gig bites are used up and i did not put anything new on my computer how can i find out what i can get rid of or keep

If you go into Add and Remove Program (found in the Control Panel) it shows the programs loaded and when lasted used.

Also look at your Window program and see if there are thing you do nto use, i.e.Games etc...

If you are only using 2 gig of your harddrive, that is probably all in Windows XP.

You can run the add/remove programs function from the control panel to see if there is anything extra loaded.

On the left sidebar there is a "Add/Remove Windows Components" button where you can remove parts of windows you don't use (Outlook, games, etc.)

umm...click start, then control panel, then add/remove programs. You'll then be given a list of all installed programs on your computer. Just click the "remove/modify" button next to the program(s) you want to remove.
