If your mom doesn't want you going, she must have a good reason.
Judging from your question, I probably wouldn't let you go to your friends party either if I were in your mother's shoes.
You can't drug someone just to be able to do whatever you want.
It could have some serious side effects and bad consequences.
Grow up and Smarten up!
There will be other parties.
*I can't believe some of you are actually giving her ideas of what kind of drugs she can sneak to her mother. Shame on you!

First, realize what you intend to do (if you could obtain barbituates) is extremely unethical, and very dangerous. You might end up killing her!
Second, re-examine your motives for "having" to attend this party, versus your mother's reasons for not letting you. Is it just because you want to have a good time? Do you think you'll be unpopular if you don't go? Is this a special party for her, and you want to show your friendship? Why doesn't your mother want you to go? Is it because there'll be no adults present? Does she fear you'll drink or have sex? Or does she simply think you shouldn't be out that late? Perhaps if she could speak with your friend's mother, she might let you. Otherwise, respect her decision, and sit tight (It's only one night, it won't kill you).
Of course, if you really *want* to worry about being popular, young girls in prison are very much in demand....

You are 18 and still have to have permission from your mom to go out?
Do you have to wear a helmet when you out for walks?
If you are going to drug someone, use something natural that won't be screen-able on a post mortum toxicology.

Well it seems like both of you need serious medical attention. This has to be a joke right? If she can't sleep a medical doctor needs to step in. If you're thinking of drugging her, your next step is a really really good therapist.

don't be ridiculous. Parties come and go, and you will have plenty of time to go to parties your whole life. Your Mom is the only true friend you have, so stay home and enjoy her.
