What does it feel like when you have a cavity in your tooth? I've never had any cavities before, but I have a tooth now which is occasionally painful when I eat. If I eat sweet things I sometimes get a really severe pain in the tooth, but only for a few seconds. It's sometimes painful to chew on, but other times it's fine.
I can't see any obvious hole in the tooth, but I guess that doesn't mean much, right? I haven't been to the dentist in a couple of years (well, maybe a little longer than that actually) but I take really good care of my teeth so I'll be really upset if it is a cavity.
If I do have a cavity, what's it like getting a filling? Can I get a white filling in a back tooth?
I do have panic attacks sometimes and I have anxiety problems - would they be able to give me something if I need a filling so that I don't have a panic attack?
