The truth is but a Lie, undiscovered.
The real question would be "why waste your time with someone who confesses to always lying." It becomes a set-up to manipulate you later and you'll just end up doubting yourself.
There is a story about a frog and a snake. The snake needs a favor and persuades the frog to help, promising no harm. In the end, the snake bites the frog and says, "It's your fault, you knew what I was when you met me."

he is telling you the truth.because he warned you that everything else was a lie, so you only have to go oppisite of what he said to get the truth. so in fact he is telling the truth because he told you how to get to the truth.

he's telling the truth because when he says that everything he says is a lie and he tells you he is lying, then he's telling the truth.
It's a double negation type of logic.
