If we were given free will then why are we punished for our actions, not really free will in my opinion. "Do what you want but if you do soemthing i dont want you to do i will punish you" doesnt make sense to me. At least angels knows exactly what to do and never have to worry abotu questioning if something is always good or bad because god tells them exactly what to do and they must do without question

After all, diabetes, heart disease, and other health issues related to obesity are costing the American public untold amounts of money each year. We are paying through the nose to dole out medical care to the uninsured. And even those that are insured cost the system by raising insurance rates.

This is the same logic used to make seat belts and motorcycle helmets mandatory, as well as some efforts to ban smoking all together (I'm not talking about second hand smoke).

Does it make sense? If so, where will it end?

I have a friend that is going to be divorcing his spouse and is almost certain he will owe her some alimony. He wants to know if there is a state that will not enforce the judgement of NC.

For instance, if he moves out of state, where can he go that he will be able to not pay the alimony and not be incarcerated for doing so?

Also, what will happen to him if he stays in NC and does not pay the alimony?

its like. whenever we try to get together. anything that can go wrong does. and destiny always interferes. weve only been together once but for like a week. and shes broken my heart a couple of times. but i seem to still like her. and ive always believed that the only way to mend broken hearts is to find somebody to replace them. but i cant. and now its summer and we hardly talk and im wondering if i should stop talking to her. so that mebeh i can get over her. or try one more time and tell her whats really bothering me. problem is that she mite have a boyfriend. i know that its better to be friends with the person you love because then you cant loose them. but im insane about her.. i mean your supposed to go after the person you that lifts you off your feet. im just afraid that she mite let me fall again... and again.. and again. =/
