Immigrants who become U.S. citizens typically pay more in taxes than do native-born Americans. Drawing upon data from the U.S. Census Bureau Current Population Survey, the CRS recently found that families with an adult, foreign-born, naturalized citizen actually have higher adjusted gross incomes-averaging $40,502-than families with U.S.-born citizens only ($35,249). The immigrants' taxable income average $32,585, compared with $27,076 for families with all native-born members. The federal taxes paid by families with naturalized citizen average $6,580 per year, compared with $5,070 for U.S. born-only families.

By conservative estimates, in 1997 immigrant households paid an estimated $133 billion in direct taxes to federal, state, and local governments.

i mean **** i try to be the best boyfreind i can which im not very good at seems to turn out....and when i try and change i think i have changed my girlfriend gets mad at me its not her fault no way at all.....but i just feel like i keep letting her down and i hate that i just hate it. i honestly dont know what to do....does anyone have any suggestions? please...i beg you guys....i dont want to lose her i love her so freaking much! i would die if i lost her.....

I have had dogs all my life, but my bulldog (1 year old)is one of a kind when it comes to this! She freaks out so badly and we can barely hold her in place, not to mention she sounds like we are torturing her. We have introduced her to the clippers, tried to do it quickly, tried it slowly...nothing is working...help! I fear our only alternative is a sedative.

I love my sister to death. However for last 25-28 years she is always unhappy with her life. First it was her health, then she went through a series of jerks who she thought were Mr. Right but played with her emotions; she married twice - first for two years and now for 12 years to a loser who is 15 years older than her and has never kept a steady job and mooches her ernings. Then she could not finish her education for a long time (she is way too briliant) but when she did from an IVY league University, there was no job to her liking. During all thses she was past the childbearing age.
Now she has a job at a very prestigious instituitionbut she lives in an area that is way too expensive so she can not afford to buy a house.
For nearly three decades se has complained about something or other and expects others to sympathize. She uses her complaints as baits and when some tries to console, pulls a guilt trap.
After all the years I cannot find sympathy although I love her. Is that wrong?
