My boyfriend is a bit on the ( why you gotta go there) jealous side... it just tells me that he really wants me and dont want to lose me....

It all depends. I mean I like to know that my man cares and is jealous at times, but then there is jealous to the point of control. My boyfriend gets jealous and threatens to beat guys up, but I do the same saying I'll beat up some girls. But he doesn't tell me where I can go, who I can go with, when I can go somewhere or even what I can wear. He's just protective I guess you could say. I love that about him 'cause it shows that he cares.

A man needs to show a woman he cares by noticing that there is potential for competition and a possibility that they are losing her if they are but they should not be SO overbearing that they are ruining there friendships and relationchips with family and that they are being abusive or argumentive. Women do naturally need to see a slight bit of jealousy once in a blue moon from there male because jealousy signifys a threat which signifys the importance to protect which signifys they are wanted and important. But it should not be a ruling characteristic of a man.

Well the knid of guy who lets me be me. Guys who are controlling do not trust ther g/f fully. they always seems to think that the girl is cheating if she goes out with friends. The guy who lets u be u will trust u no matter what. But ladies doi not take advantage of that. Love that guy.

who cares enough but not too much..like if you had a guy friend tat you JUST talked to and then you had a boy friend that got the "attention" then he wouldnt be jealous of the friend..but would protect you and want you for himself..but also respected you space.

umm. . . both have avantages and disadvantages because when he's protective it shows how much he cares bout ya but sometimes he can go a little to far
with unprotective sometimes it seems like he doen't care and on the other side you guys aren't always fighting cuz he thinks your in to some other guy when your just friends

there is a difference between caring and being jealous jealousy can lead to be controlling if your not careful and that is never attractive if there is trust there is no jealousy caring means you worry somrthing will happen to the one you love jealous means your worried she will do something wrong

well personally i dont like guys to let me do whatever i want becuz it makes me feel like they couldnt care less what i did which means they dont care about me..but i dont like guys who are controlling my every move..like "clingy" like all the time wanting to be with you and never letting me have my own space..like hanging with my friends and stuff....i like they guys that care what i do with other guys and will stop me from doing that..and they guys that will let me have space if i asked for it
