I'm 14 years old & am going to be a freshman this year. I am interested in starting a job to just get the ball rolling. I am a certified baby-sitter, but don't really know how to advertise that. I was thinking of maybe a job at like Starbucks or something. Earning some extra cash would be nice to help go towards a car when I turn 16. So is there a way I can get an occupation permit at the age of 14? Thanks.

My boyfriend has a television from Europe, he's now moved to America. He wants to use the European tv here, but is having problems. The Coaxial cable is not the same, the European tv's slot for the coax is larger than the american made coax. Is there some kind of adaptor or cord that can be bought to convert it, and make the European TV work on the USA's cable system?? If there is such a cord or adaptor, where could such be found or purchased? and what would it be called? Or is my boyfriend stuck with a TV that won't work with the US cable system? Any advice or thoughts at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They both are no talent hillbillies who rose to fame at the right place-right time and became icons in the American culture but sunk to a pitiful bottom. Both are pretty classless too, with the way they act (or acted) but you just feel sorry for them. Both stories are sad.

I am freaking out. I have been employed at a Catholic School for 7 years as a 5th grade teacher and I love it. I have been engaged to my wonderful fiance for a year and a half. When I recently told my principal I was getting married she told me I would be fired. (My fiance has been divorced and cannot marry in a Catholic church until it is anulled, so we were just going to get married in a beautiful Christian church--which I prefer, actually) But she said if I am not married in the catholic church, I am "not modeling catholic beliefs" and would be fired. First of all, this is 2006 in AMERICA, for pete's sake, but all the dogma aside--I want to get married AND I want to keep my job.... What should I do? The anullment process for our situation would take about 2 years. I DO NOT want to put my life on hold that long. I am 32!

has anyone traveled to lithuania? i want to take my boyfriend to lithuania and maybe watch a soccer game...without contacting a travel agent just yet, cuz i find them to be a little pressuring....anyone know of a good way to make a trip like that? any good sites we HAVE to see? about how much can a trip like that range? hotels? food? advice?
