I planted 60 onion plants in early May and only nine have come up. What's happening?

I have fertilized them and kept them free of weeds and hoed them. Nothing's coming up. I thought they were healthy when I planted them,,:-(

Should we clean our carpets?

I live in a one bedroom apartment and for the last couple months our carpet has become dirty. Should we clean it professional before we move out or should we leave it like that? If I leave it, do you think that they wont give me my 300$ deposit back?

If I meet my son,aged 10 years- & wife weekly once- in the long run what will be relationship conseqences?

I stay 350 kms away from my home as my working place is in a separate city. Due to the committements made I am forced to take up the job for better career prospectus. I have son aged 10 yrs & 3 yrs old daughter, my wife working- mother taking care of the family. Many a times I feel guilty that I am not taking care of the family in right way & putting burden on my wife & mother. How do I handle this & how my staying away will affect my future relationship with my kids.
