I'm pregnant now with my second child and we have already settled on a little girl's name. First, I'll give you some info about our choice. Every man in my husband's family has the same middle name, Lee. Therefore, my son has the middle name Lee, I'm not one to mess with tradition. I thought that since our son had a family name as a middle name, I wanted our daughter to have a name in my family (middle name). Well, my dad's mom was a good ole southern woman with a very southern name. How more southern can you get than Betty Jo Sprayberry? My father's name is Milton Joe (he goes by Joe for obvious reasons). I'm a daddy's girl and always will be (that's how southern girls are) and Grandma Betty Jo was my best friend until she passed away and therefore I decided that would be my daughter's middle name, Jo. We racked our brains for a pretty name to go with Jo. Finally we thought of Elizabeth. Elizabeth Jo, how pretty is that? Well, my grandmother's younger sister is named Elizabeth and she was so touched when she heard the name. Also, Betty used to be a very common nickname for Elizabeth (now of course it's Beth and Liz).
So, my little girl will be Elizabeth Jo and we will call her Betty Jo. My family is all so touched by this (with the exception of my mother who, being a Yankee, can't stand southern, or as she calls them, "hick" names. But oh well).

I am expecting a girl and I was going to name her Savanah however, someone else at work is naming her baby that and my other children don't like that name. It is my favorite that I have found though and everyone except my sons agree.
