everytime i start my computer, it shows the logo of the motherboard, in my case, foxconn. then after that, it stops. it didn't show the part where you can enter the bios configuration. a friend of mine suggest that i replace the IDE cable, i followed his advice but still the problem exist. please help, college classes starts today, and i badly needed this computer.

What are the full reasons (beyond wages) why immigrants from Mexico risk life to come to the USA?

I'm curious why they would risk everything to come here. I know they come to work for very low wages-the reason is? What are the economic reasons, political reasons, etc. There has to be more to it that just dollars a day.

How do I deal with a potential sister in law that hates me dating her brother?

The soon to be sister in law introduced me to her brother and we have been datinge ever since. After we started dating she did a 180 on us and now hates us and tell us that we have ruined her life. We have tried talking to her, including her in events, and she is rude to everyone and specifically targets me as the evil doer. Any suggestions on how to deal with someone who makes family events miserable? We are talking about marriage and I fear what she will do once she finds this out.

Anyone know approx. how much it would cost for a well and septic to be dug on property we own in Kentucky.?

I know that the well would vary depending on the depth that they have to go to in order to hit water (or however that works)... but any rough guesstimate would be more than we have now. Maybe a low and high end guess.... anyone? Thanks !!!!
